Thank you, EUROHOLD!

The BIBL would like to hereby thank EUROHOLD and especially to Mr. Assen Christov and Mr. Kiril Boshov for the 7 seasons standing behind us, huge support and trust in what we have been doing, in the name of the sports and basketball in general. EUROHOLD gave us the chance to create this great competition for the Balkan clubs and thus provide the opportunity to players and coaches to play and develop, communities to experience the taste of the international games, families to attend together a sports event, children to go to the basketball halls and be involved in sports. 
 
Back in 2008 when the Balkan League was making its first steps, it was Mr. Christov who saw the opportunity and the potential of the competition and gave us the possibility to become EUROHOLD Balkan League and for all these years we wore it proudly. During this long period of time, EUROHOLD was not only our brand name and main sponsor but a partner, a “co-pilot” through the long and not so easy way of the Balkan sports environment. Their investment was not only financial but also emotional and everybody asked to support, was there for us, helping with whatever they could. However, with good management and cooperation with EUROHOLD and the others brands under it, with patience and hard-work, we succeeded to create the already well-known product the BIBL.
 
Today, we are announcing the transition of BIBL to a new brand name for the following 3 years – SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League.
 
The decision was not easy emotionally as after all the years we do feel like a family with EUROHOLD, but it came because we do believe in these difficult times of crisis all over Europe not by-p?ssing the Balkan region of course, EUROHOLD deserves, as we call it in the basketball, a “time-out”. The decision was taken together with Mr. Assen Christov who keeps his position of Executive Director of the BIBL. Moreover, we continue our cooperation with StarMotors representing the brand MAZDA for Bulgaria, Macedonia and Kosovo; AutoItalia representing FIAT and ALFA ROMEO; Motobul representing Platinum Orlen; Eurolease Auto, Sportmedia TV.
 
Once again, the whole management of the BIBL expresses their huge appreciation to EUROHOLD for the 7 years spent together, standing next to each other mutually promoting and popularizing the brands throughout the Balkan Peninsula.
