Peja and Bashkimi started the new season with victories

KB Peja and KB Bashkimi started the new season in Kosovo with wins. Both teams played away but were victorious and are gearing up for the start of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League.   Peja visited Vllaznimi and was dominant in winning 118-71. The Yellows won all four quarters in the match and left no doubt for the outcome. Ronald Davis was the top performer for the win with 27 points and 6 assists while Alban Veseli and Drilon Hajrizi scored 17 points apiece.   Bashkimi had a much tougher outing but still defeated Ylli 76-70 away. The game was decided in the last quarter which started with only 1 point difference but the visitors managed to come away with the victory. Gerti Shima performed very well with 27 points and 16 rebounds as Theron Bussey added 20 points and 6 assists.
