Domestic leagues: Win for Beroe, defeat for Levski 2014

BC Beroe recorded its second win in Bulgarian league. The team from Stara Zagora visited Chernomorets and managed to take 70-61 victory. With it The Greens are tied for 5th in the standings with 2-2 record.   Beroe took an early lead but it wasn′t a big one. Shortly after the break though they increased the advantage to 15 but at the start of the fourth quarter it came down to 4. The visitors however held on to it and won the match. Nikolay Nikolov had 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners while Stanislav Vaklinov added 12 and 5.     In the meantime Levski 2014 suffered its third defeat of the campaing. The Blues visited Spartak in Pleven and lost 70-76 in the final moments.    The hero for the home side was former Levski player Gerasim Nikolov. With The Blues leading by 2 with a bit more than a minute to play, he scored two triples that decided the match with 29 seconds to go. Pavel Ivanov had 20 points for Levski while Aleksandar Yanev added 12 and 11 rebounds.
