Domestic leagues: Convincing wins for Peja, Sigal Prishtina and Bashkimi

All three Kosovo representatives in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League had convincing victories in this week′s round of the local league. Peja, Sigal Prishtina and Bashkimi had no troubles and won their matches.   Peja hosted Trepca and took 103-69 victory. Despite the big difference the hosts had a difficult start. They were down by 1 after ten minutes and then up only by 7 at the break. In the second half things got better and the lead was increased. Drilon Hajrizi had 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the win while Kevin Burwell and Ronald Davis both had 18 points and 7 rebounds.   The champions Sigal Prishtina defeated Ylli 110-87 at home. They had a good started and jumped to a big lead early and had no problems for the win. Yll Kacaniku had 23 points and 9 rebounds for the home side while Gezim Morina added 16 and 8.   Bashkimi also played a good match and defeated Vllaznimi 94-68 away. The team from Prizren managed to build a lead of 7 points after ten minutes and it remained the same at the break. In the second half Bashkimi increased the advantage and cruised on for the victory.    Andi Shehu had 20 points for the visitors while Theron Bussey finished with 18.   Peja and Sigal Prishtina are leading the standings with 5 wins and 0 defeats while Bashkimi is tied for third place with 3-2 record.
