Domestic leagues: Peja won the big derby, victory for Bashkimi as well

KB Peja won the big derby of Kosovo and is now the sole leader of the league. The team visited KB Sigal Prishtina and took 68-65 victory to go top.    Sigal led for three quarters and before the last one had 15-point advantage. Peja however didn′t stop fighting and completed a great comeback to steal the victory.   Kevin Burwell had 18 points and 4 assists for the winners while Nenad Delic added 15 points and 6 rebounds. For the home side Khalid El-Amin had 15 points as Edmond Azemi added 14 and 7 rebounds.     In the same round Bashkimi defeated Ylli 93-83 at home. The team from Prizren led from start to finish and withstood a few attempts from the visitors to tie the score.   Tay Waller had 25 points for the win as Theron Bussey added 19.   Peja is now the leader in the league with 6-0 record. Sigal Prishtina are second with 5 wins and 1 defeat while Bashkimi sits third with 4-3 record.
