KK Kozuv appointed a new head coach
12-11-2015 | 10:05
Stratos Koukoulekidis is the new head coach of KK Kozuv. He replaces Boban Mitev at the helm after the latter left 10 days ago. In the two games without him the assistant Ile Eftimov stepped up and won them - against Best in the local league and against Beroe in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League.   Koukoulekidis has a big coaching experience over the years. He has already worked in Macedonia back in 2006/2007 season when he guided Strumica but left in March 2007 despite the team being first at the moment. Then in 2011 he returned to that same team but left soon due to financial crisis.   The last team Koukoulekidis worked for was Sichuan in China. He spent a season there and led the team to the title of the local league. The Greek has also been an assistant in Aris Thessaloniki and won the FIBA Champions Cup in 2003 and the Greek Cup in 2004. He has worked also in Ermis Lagkada, Apollon Limassol and MENT.   Kozuv is currently third in group A of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League with 1 win and 2 defeats.
