SK Tirana appointed a new head coach

Nikola Milatovic is the new head coach of SK Tirana. The 53-year old Montenegrin will replace Slobodan Petrovski who started the season. The former coach′s son Luka is also leaving the team.

 

Albania is not unknown field for Milatovic who worked there last season. He was the coach of Teuta and led the team to the finals of the league which they lost to Vllaznia. 

 

Before that Milatovic worked for three years in Ulcinj and three years in Danilovgrad in his native Montenegro. In 2014 he led Albanian U16 National team and the European championship in Macedonia.

 

Milatovic′s debut will be tomorrow when Tirana will visit Vllaznia in the derby of the local league. Next week the team is going to travel to Mitrovica to play Trepca in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. So far Tirana has 1 wins and 3 defeats but still has good chances of reaching the Second Stage.
