A fantastic third quarter run gives Karpos a second win

KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 won its second game of the season in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The Skopje team hosted KB Trepca and took 85-69 victory after playing better in the third quarter. Shortly after the break the hosts made a great run which gave them a big lead and they held it on until the end. Sokoli now has 2-5 record in the group while Trepca is with 2-4. Next week the Mitrovica team will host Feni Industries while Karpos will welcome Peja.

It was an even first half as both teams exchanged points and leads. However no one could take any big advantage and at the break the visitors were up by only 2 points. 

Trepca scored the first two of the second half but then Karpos stepped up a gear and went on an increadibe 26-2 run which gave the team a 20-point lead. This actually decided the game as until the end of it the hosts controlled the score and didn′t allow any setbacks.

The top scorer for the winners was Kendrick Perry with 19 points. Dragan Labovic added 17 and 5 rebounds while Bojan Trajkovski had 16 in his first game for the team in BIBL.

Jeremy Wise had 23 points and 7 rebounds as Nikola Ljujic had 14 and 8.
