Dragan Nikolic, head coach of KK Karpos Sokoli 2000: "The basic definition of this game for us is that we had a poor first and a great second half. The rival in the beginning of the match played some improvisation `one on one` basketball, something that brought troubles to my players. Also, we were 0 of 7 for three points in the first half with six missed free throws, and in defense we allowed some easy three pointers. But, finally my players reacted well after the break and in just 7-8 minutes took a 20-point lead. I′m glad that I had a opportunity to give some minutes to newcomers Trajkovski and Page, so they could learn our system. I′m also satisfied with the performance of Damjan Jakimovski, and there was no place to give chance to other youngsters in my team, but I think that they will get their minutes in some of the next games."
Zoran Vrkic, player of KK Karpos Sokoli 2000: "I don′t know why we didn′t play well in first half, may be it was result that we still thought about the couple of our big defeats recently. But, after the break, we decided to play faster and with tougher defense to gain some easy points, and after a few minutes we made a big difference that was crucial for our win in the game."
Dimitrios Papadopoulos, head coach of KB Trepca: "Congratulations to Karpos Sokoli players, they deserved the victory. We showed two different faces, and I don′t know why. We played good in the first half, we controlled the pace and we played smart. But then we got in trouble with fouls so we had to play zone defense, in which we received some easy points and after only 2-3 minutes in the second half we lost the contact with the score and that was it for us."
Valdrin Haxhiu, player of KB Trepca: "We knew the force of Karpos Sokoli, we played them a couple of weeks ago at home as we won in the last seconds. We started good, but in the second half we weren′t at our best. We had some problems with injuries, especially with our big guys. Karpos Sokoli played very good under both baskets and the hosts totally deserved the win."
