Aleksandar Kostoski: It was important just to win

What a last game it was for Aleksandar Kostoski with the uniform of KK Kumanovo 2009. After five years with the team he is leaving to join the Romanian side Pitesti and he did with style. Against the BIBL champions KB Sigal Prishtina the guard finished with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and only 1 turnoever in 35 minutes. The local fans greeted him for the whole time and honoured him before the match. After his last game for Kumanovo, at least for now, here is what Kostoski had to say:

"We played a bad second half against Bashkimi last week and we lost two points at home which we had to recover. This game is enough for the Second Stage and it was important to win because the results will count. 

We are a shooting team and we showed that. We moved the ball really well in offense and in the same time we managed to stop the individual attacks by the two Americans of Sigal Prishtina. The atmosphere also helped us and at the end we deserved to win. 

I was feeling normal. I wanted to give my best but still it was more important just to win. I wish the players and coaches a success in the future game. I hope they′ll be able to achieve their ambitions which were set at the start of the season and I will support them from Romania."
