Domestic leagues: Trepca wins the derby of the week, easy for Peja and harder for Sigal Prishtina

Important win for Trepca

KB Peja had a very easy win in Kosovo league. The team hosted Rahoveci and didn′t have any trouble to take 82-43 victory. The top scorer was Arti Hajdari with 15 points as LaMarcus Reed added 13.

Sigal Prishtina had a much harder time to defeat Ylli 88-82 away. The champions started great and led 46-26 after ten minutes. However in the next three quarters they scored 42 points and allowed the hosts to comeback. Sigal though held on and didn′t let any surprise happen.

Drilon Hajrizi had 23 points and 6 rebounds for the win as Jabarie Hinds added 20 points and 7 assists.

In the derby of this round KB Trepca hosted KB Bashkimi and won convincingly 81-48. The visitors led 10-9 but then everything changed. The hosts played much better, were strong in defense and took a big victory.

Jeremy Wise was the top scorer for the winners with 16 points as Besnik Azemi had 14 and 7 rebounds. Kayel Locke finished with 25 points and 7 rebounds for Bashkimi as Eric Palm added 13 points.

Currently Peja has 9-1 record and has two postponed games with Bashkimi and Rahoveci, Sigal Prishtina is with 10 wins and 2 defeats, Bashkimi follows with 9-2 while Trepca is next at 8-4.
