Domestic leagues: Kumanovo defeats the leader, Feni holds on against Kozuv

KK Kumanovo 2009 won a very important game in this round of Macedonian league. The team hosted the unbeaten Rabotnicki and took 86-83 victory after overtime.

The visitors were close to take the win but Brown tied the game just before the regular time finished. In the extra period the teams exchanged points as with 2:20 to go the score was tied again. Then the hosts scored four points in a row and held on for the win.

Danilo Mijatovic was the top performer for the winners with 28 points and 11 rebounds while the new signing Jonel Brown had 18 points.

In a derby of two BIBL teams MKK Feni Industries hosted KK Kozuv and won 88-82. The home side played well in the second and third quarters to take a 13-point lead but the visitors fought back to cut the deficit to just 3. In the next offense though Stajikj hit a triple and was fouled and practically decided the outcome.

George Sharabidze and Matija Ceshkovic had 19 points apiece for the win while Boban Stajikj had 15 and 6 assists. Kenyon McNeail finished with 20 points for the visiting team as Milivoje Mijovic had 19 and 9 rebounds.
