Academic Bultex 99 may be joining the SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League next season

The SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League has grown every year. 12 teams from five different countries had entered the competition this season and it looks like their number is about to grow in the next 2017/2018 edition. 

BC Academic Bultex 99 has expressed an interest in participating in the competition and if that happens Bulgaria will join Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo as the countries with more than one member club in the league.

More details will be announced after the meeting between the club and the BIBL management on 2 March 2017.

The SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League management, though, will be more than happy to welcome the team from Plovdiv in the competition.
