Domestic leagues: Sigal Prishtina won the derby with Peja

KB Sigal Prishtina secured the first position before the playoffs in Kosovo league. The team defeated KB Peja 79-73 in the big derby and finished the regular season with a 21-3 record.

After one quarter the hosts led by 4 points as at the break the difference was 6. However in the third period the hosts pulled away to go up by 13 and then held on until the end.

Drilon Hajrizi and Nenad Delic were the top performers for the winners as each scored 25 points.

Alban Veseli had 22 points and 8 rebounds for Peja as Robert Abramovic added 15 points.

Peja and Bashkimi will battle for the second place in the league as they will play two games against each other. For now Bashkimi occupies this second spot with 18-4 record as Peja follows with 17-5. Trepca is sure to be fourth with 16-8.
