Domestic leagues: Kozuv holds on against Kumanovo, Feni beaten by the champions

KK Kozuv recorded its second win in the Superleague. The Gevgelija team hosted KK Kumanovo 2009 and held on for an 86-78 victory. The home side played well in the second and third quarter managing to build a 16-point edge. In the final period Kumanovo tried a comeback but it was too late for anything.

Milivoje Mijovic had 23 points and 15 rebounds for the win as Kenyon McNeail and Ivica Dimcevski had 16 apiece. Radosav Pekovic finished with 16 points for Kumanovo as Nikola Karakolev added 15.

MKK Feni Industries came up short against the champions MZT Skopje and lost 61-77. The Kavadarci team was equal to its oponnent in the first half and led by 1 at the end of it. In the second however MZT stepped it up and reached the victory.

Mladen Pantic finished with 15 points for Feni as Boban Stajikj and Kiril Nikolovski had 12 apiece.

Kozuv is fourth in the standings with 2-4 record while Kumanovo and Feni are tied for 5th with 1-5.
