Domestic leagues: Important win for Bashkimi, no problems for Sigal Prishtina and Peja
KB Bashkimi recorded a very important win in Kosovo league. The Prizren team defeated KB Trepca 99-77 away to stay in second place. Bashkimi led by just 2 at the break but played a great second half to come out on top.
Justin Black had 31 points and 6 rebounds for the win as Kayel Locke added 22 and 8. Montreal Scott had 30 points and 12 rebounds for Trepca while Samir Zekiqi scored 18 points.
The champions Sigal Prishtina ousted Ylli 110-96 away. They had a great start to take a 24-point edge and never looked back after.
Mike Moser finished with 29 points and 9 rebounds for the win as Nenad Delic added 15 and 6.
KB Peja hosted Rahoveci and had no trouble to win 118-80. The Yellows took a 21-point advantage after only one period which was more than enough for them.
Alban Veseli was the top scorer for the win with 23 points as Blend Matoshi scored 21.
With two rounds to go Sigal Prishtina has already secured the first place with 23-3 record. Bashkimi is second with 21-5 as Peja follows with 20-6. Trepca will for sure finish fourth as the team has 17 wins and 9 losses.
