BC Academic Bultex 99 loses first pre-season game

BC Academic Bultex 99 registered a defeat in first friendly game during the pre-season campaign. The team from Plovdiv lost to BC Balkan, 53:73.

 

The game was close throughout the first half, when the team of coach Asen Nikolov went ahead by 6, 25-19. However, the hosts in Arena Botevgrad, pulled away after the break by keeping Academic scoreless for 5 minutes.

 

Manuel Johnson scored 9 points for the SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League newcomer. Maodo Ngiran and Vasil Bachev each added 8.
