Levski 2014 is back and is welcoming the runner-up
After a one year absence Levski 2014 is back in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The Blues welcome tonight the runner-up from last season KK Kumanovo 2009. The match will start at 18.00 hrs local time (17.00 CET) and will be broadcast LIVE on BNT World and SportMedia.tv.
Levski has a good young squad which will have a great opportunity to get more experience playing in international games. There are already some with more matches like Aleks Simeonov, Nikola Maravic, Veselin Veselinov or newly signed Jimmie Hunt. but the roster features some young up and coming players like Ivan Alipiev and Aleksandar Milov. The problem for the returning head coach Konstantin Papazov is that the main point guard Deyan Karamfilov is out due to an injury and Hunt and the youngster Lachezar Dimitrov will have to share that position.
Kumanovo on the other side kept some of the most important players from last season like Marjan Janeski and Dimitar Karadjovski. The team also added AMerican point guard Griffin Ramme who already has two seasons in the competition. Kumanovo signed also the experienced Mirko Kovac and added Nemanja Miljkovic. Those five players will be team′s main weapons but others will also have to step up in order for the Macedonians to have success.
