Asen Nikolov returns as head coach of Academic Bultex 99

BC Academic Bultex 99 appointed a new head coach. His name is well familiar as Asen Nikolov is returning at the helm of the team. He is replacing Darko Kostic who started the season but was released few days ago.

Nikolov led Academic in the past seasons including the team′s first two in Bulgarian NBL and in the debut in the Balkan League. Nikolov is already having practices with the team and his first game will be on January 3rd against KK Blokotehna at home in Plovdiv.

So far Academic has 4-3 record in the Balkan League and is in a good position to reach the Final Four. In Bulgarian championship the team is sixth with 4 wins and 6 defeats.
