Asen Nikolov: We took the right decisions on offense

Academic Bultex 99 finished third in SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League Final Four after beating Beroe. The Plovdiv team seemed more motivated in the game for 3rd place and deserved its victory. Here is what the head coach Asen Nikolov had to say following the win:

"We are still dissapointed. The game wasn′t of big importance but perhaps we wanted the win more. It was clear that Beroe was here for the title and probably they were more dissapointed than us following the semifinals. 

It′s always nice when you finish with a win. Of course it′s a big success for our club but I′m personally dissapointed because we came to at least play in the final.

Generally it was a good game for us. We played strong defense and took the right decisions on offense. I would like to congratulate Mr. Shtriks and the Albanian basketball federation for the Final Four organization. We are happy that we were here."
