Marjan Ilievski: Once again the defense was the key factor

The head coach of KK Blokotehna-NB - Marjan Ilievski, won the Balkan League title for second time in his career. The first one was with Sigal Prishtina back in 2015 but now he did it with a team from his country. Here is what the happy Ilievski had to say following the win against Teuta in the Final:

"The defense was the key factor in our win in the semifinal and the same can be said for the final. Already in the first few minutes in the game we managed to create a big difference and it made things easier for us. 

I′m always looking to underline my authority as a coach to the players but also I like that they feel me as a friend. This way, when we have tough moments I′m able to lift them up mentally and make them believe in themselves. In this case they were motivated and the energy it brought led us to a positive result. 

The title with Sigal Prishtina, which for me was as an international coach, has a big meaning for me. However winning the title in your country with your players is something bigger for me. This trophy now is more precious to me and I can′t compare the two titles. Each one has its meaning."
