Maccabi Rishon LeZion had their first win in Group D in Delasports Balkan League, denying Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Be′er Sheva with 96-85.

Head coach of Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Guy Goodes: "I think we had a good game considering our lack of guards. We started the game not focused. Beer Sheva did a good job on the offensive rebound but in the second half we stepped up on defense and offence, made the right moves and I am happy with the result.”

Akil Mitchell: “Beer Sheva is a good team, a physical team. We knew that it would be a tough game and it was. It is good to pull up the first win at the Delasport Balkan league and I′m happy with our performance".
