Peja defeated Sigal Pristina in the Kosovo derby in Delasport Balkan League

KB Peja managed to escape with a narrow win against fellow Kosovo team Sigal Prishtina defeating with a score of 87-84. 

It was an expected drama to the last second in the sports hall in Gjakova, which hosted the event due to technical problems in the Peja arena.

After a close first quarter, Sigal Prishtina managed to pull away with as many as 14 points in the second. Peja responded well to get back before the break and both teams were separated by only 3 points before the second half - 43-46.

The visitors again led almost throughout the whole second half, but the last couple of minutes decided the game in favor of Peja.

The hosts finished with a 7-0 run to secure the win.

In Peja, with 18 points, the top scorer was Kwame Vaughn, who also made 12 assists, while Jetmir Zeqiri gave 16 points and Sadio Doucoure 15 more.

Diamond Stone was the most efficient of the match, he played with 25 points, and shot 4/7 for three points, while Donte Clark gave 22 more.

The victory makes Peja's balance 4-1 while Sigal Prishtina's 3-2 in BIBL.
