PAYABL EKA AEL won for the fifth time in the Delasport Balkan League. The Cypriots beat KB Peja after 85-80 in front of their home crowd.  Here is what head coach Kalia Papadopoulou had to say following the win:

„My congratulations to the players, as it was not easy to win against such a good  team with a big budget. Even when Peja managed to significantly reduce the difference, we reacted without losing our composure."

„AEL played without their most stable Cypriot basketball player, Panagiotis Markou. His absence was noticeable, as Petza was playing a zone defense and we needed his peripheral shot."

„AEL is back and there is a proper three-year plan in place. We hope that next year we will be even more competitive and surely with this wonderful team, we can reach even higher. I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to coach this team and blessed to have these fans by our side.“
