Domestic leagues: KK Brod-Svjetlost lose again in Croatia

Despite the hiring of head coach Zoran Kalpic, KK Brod-Svjetlost didn′t have what it takes to win against KK Zabok in the fourth round of the Croatian league, and suffered a 96:81 defeat.   That puts them on 9th place with a balance of 1-3, while Zabok are sixth with a 2-2 record.   Veteran Srdan Helbich had a good game for Brod, scoring 24 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Aljosa Sarac and Igor Maric were the other two players to score more than 10 - each of them finished with 12 points.   In the next round of the EUROHOLD BAlkan LEague, KK Brod-Svjetlost are facing HKK Zrinjski Mostar, and will look for their first win in the BIBL so far.
