Domestic leagues: Balkan′s season is over after a loss in Yambol

BC Balkan′s season is over, after the team lost 74:56 against Yambol away from home and the quarterfinal series in the Bulgarian NBL finished 2-0 in favor of Yambol. The first game in Botevgrad finished 63:65.   Balkan were really struggling today, as neither of their players managed to score 10 points. Dwayne Morton got closest to this mark, finishing with 9 and 8 rebounds. Three other players scored 8 points each.   All of Yambol′s starters scored in double digits. Yulian Radionov had a really strong game - 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Stoyan Petkov added 12 and 7 rebounds, while Nikolay Varbanov finished with a double-double - 11 points and 11 rebounds.   In the semifinals of the NBL Yambol will face Levski, who knocked out Spartak Pleven in the quarterfinal stage of the playoffs.
