Bulgaria achieved a historical win today in Klaipeda. The 69:65 success against Belgium came after 22 long years of waiting, as Bulgaria′s previous win at a European Championship was back in 1989.
 
E.J. Rowland had a great game in today′s win - 22 points and 2 steals. The team captain Filip Videnov showed his usual level today, finishing with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
 
Sam Van Rossom led Belgium with 17 points. Christophe Begin added 13, and Thomas Van Den Spiegel finished with 12.
 
Deyan Ivanov finished with 3 points, but they were bulgaria′s last points for the game, which gave them the win. Sam Van Rossom missed a chance to tie the game, after missing a open shot with the buzzer.
