Domestic leagues: Timisoara climbed up to the first spot in Romania

The Romanian participant in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Timisoara climbed up to the first spot in their local championship in Romania. This happened after Predrag Badnjarevic′s team won the derby game against Gaz Metan by 2 points - 78:76.   Zlatko Jovanovic scored 23 points in the victory, while Bogdan Popescu added 21. Dominique Archie also had a solid performance - 16 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.   Ivan Ivanovic scored 19 points for Gaz Metan, while Jarrett Howell finished with 17 in the losing effort.   Timisoara are now first with a balance of 8-1, while Gaz Metan are second with 7-1.
