Domestic leagues: BC Kavala lost to one of the top teams in Europe

After two straight win BC Kavala suffered a defeat in the championship. The team was host to one of the top European teams - Panathinaikos, and lost 71-97. This leaves Kavala on tied for 12th place with 2 wins and 8 defeats so far.
The visitors pulled away in the second quarter when they outplayed Kavala. They won the quarter 29-11, took a 21 points advantage at the break and had no problems until the end.
Anthony Grundy was the top scorer for Kavala with 18 points dishing out 6 assists as well. Steve Panos also played well with 14 points as 13 added William Coleman.
