Domestic leagues: No problems for Kozuv, home defeat for Kumanovo

KK Kozuv continued its good play in Macedonian championship. In the first round of the new year the team had no problems in defeating Karpos Sokoli 82-58 away. Miladin Pekovic and Zlatko Gocevski had 15 points apiece as Igor Mijalovic scored 13.   In this same round Kumanovo 2009 lost at home to Rabotnicki by a score of 62-67. The visitors won the first three quarter and were up by 11 points which was enough at the end. Vukasin Mandic had 21 points and 5 rebounds while Royce Parran added 14 points.   After this round Kozuv is tied for first place with 10 wins and 1 loss while Kumanovo is fourth with a 7-4 record.
