Domestic leagues: Levski started the third phase with a victory

Levski started well the third phase of the local league. The Blues visited Beroe in Stara Zagora and had little trouble in winning 83-69. This let them keep the 4th position with 12 wins and 5 defeats and next week will meet Balkan away.   After good first quarter the hosts led by 2 points but Levski made a 15-1 run in the second and pulled away. Then Beroe managed to cut the deficit to 4-5 points a few times but didn′t put a lot of pressure on The Blues.   Top scorers for the winners were Brandon Heat and Jumaine Jones with 16 points apiece. Lionel Chalmers added 15 points.
