Sigal Prishtina defeated Mornar for second win in a row

KB Sigal Prishtina recorded second straight win in group B of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team visited KK Mornar in Bar and won 87-80. The visitors led for most of the game and in the end managed to held on for the victory. In the next round Sigal will host SCM U Craiova while Mornar will visit Vllaznia.

The game started even until Sigal made an 8-0 run. Then the visitors kept their advantage until the end of the quarter but in the second Mornar was close. Dardan Berisha made a basket and a free throw at the end of the first half to increase the advantage to 4 points as Mornar had cut it before.

After the break Sigal played better and in the middle of the third quarter made a 9-0 run to lead by 15. However Mornar scored 11 straight points to cut the deficit to 4 after 30 minutes and came back in the game. At the start of the last quarter the hosts tied the score but the visitors responded quickly. Later they made a 14-3 run which was enough to seal the win despite the fact that Mornar cut the gap.

Dardan Berisha played a huge game for the winners and finished with 41 points. Aaron McGhee added 16 and 7 rebounds while Edin Bavcic had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Calvin Newell had 25 points for Mornar as Miroslav Damjanovic had 16.
