Domestic leagues: First defeat for Kumanovo, first win for Kozuv

KK Kumanovo 2009 suffered its first defeat in the new season of Macedonian league. The team visited Karpos Sokoli and was beaten 61-69 after a bad finish to the game. Before the last ten minutes the hosts were up by 2 points, but close to the end they made a 6-0 run to go ahead by 5 and cruise to the victory. Vukasin Mandic had 15 points for Kumanovo while Aleksandar Shterjov added 13.

After two defeats Kozuv managed to record its first win. The team from Gevgelija hosted Feni Industries and won the game 80-70. The final quarter was the decisive one as both teams started at 55 points but the home side did better when it mattered. Uros Lukovic and Milan Janjusevic scored 17 points apiece for the victory.
