Strong defense leads Mornar to win over Vllaznia

KK Mornar won for fourth time in group B this season. The team from Bar hosted KS Vllaznia and took a 79-48 victory which was never in doubt. The home team started very strong the match, took a lead early and never surrendered it until the end. With this result Mornar is now with 4 wins and 3 defeats while Vllaznia is last with no victory and 6 losses. Next week Vllaznia will visit SCM U Craiova while Mornar will play the same team after two weeks.

Mornar played good defense in the beginning and started with 9-2 run in the first three and a half minutes. A bit later the difference went to 10 points and after 5-0 run to end the first quarter it became 13. In the next two quarters the hosts controlled the advantage without doing a lot to increase it but that changed in the final minutes, Mornar once again stepped it up and finished the match on 12-0 run to take a big win.

Ivan Jelenic was the top scorer for the home team with 23 points as Milija Mikovic had a double double with 12 and 10.
