Domestic leagues: Important win for Rilski Sportist

Rilski Sportist recorded an important home win in 16th round of Bulgarian league. The team hosted Cherno more in Samokov and won the match 78-62. It puts Rilski with 8 wins and 5 losses and the team is now favourite to finish in the top 4 before the Cup finals.    Rilski led early, then allowed the visitors to come back but again the hosts took a good lead. At the break Rilski led by 11 but strong start of the second half from Cherno more gave the visitors the lead. Rilski though responded with 12-0 run and in the last quarter managed to keep the opponents away from them.   Vernon Taylor had 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners while Zlatin Georgiev had 15 and 6.
