Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist lost the decisive semifinal

BC Rilski Sportist couldn′t qualify for the finals in Bulgarian championship. The team from Samokov lost the fifth and decisive game away at Balkan 65-84. Now they will play for the bronze medals and will meet Cherno more.

Rilski started the game well and took 10-point lead in the first quarter. In the second the team was up by 8 but Balkan made 13-0 run to take the advantage. Then both teams played a tied and even third quarter which finished with 5 points in favour of the home side. In the last the first basket was scored by Rilski but the home team responded with 15-0 run and that decided the game.

Vernon Taylor had 24 points and 7 rebounds for the visitors while Tony Gugino added 12 and 10.
