BC Academic Bultex 99 claims first Cup title for the season

The Bulgarian newcomer to SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League BC Academic Bultex 99 won a first cup title for Season 20177-2018 after defeating Cherno More, 86-79, in a friendly tournament in Pleven.

It all came down to the second half, when an 11-0 run helped the team from Plovdiv gain a 9-point advantage.

Manuel Johnson led the winners with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Vasil Bachev added 15 points, while Shakir Smith and Vasil Mihaylov scored 11 points, each.
