Domestic leagues: Important win for Barsy Atyrau

BC Barsy Atyrau recorded a very important win in Kazakhstan league. The team visited Tobol and took a 96-94 victory after a late drama.

The hosts started very good and took a 12-point lead after ten minutes. The second quarter was really different as Barsy turned things around to be 1 up at the break. The second half however was just about the same as the first one. A good third quarter gave the hosts 11-point edge but with a top performance at the end, the visitors took the victory against a direct rival for the second place.

Montrell Dixson was the top performer for the winners with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Bojan Bakic also did well with 20 points and 6 assists while Ibrahim Konyssov had 17 points.

Tonight the two teams will meet again in what will be their last match of year 2018.
