The host of the 2024 Final 4 in Delasport Balkan League PAYBL EKA AEL flew into the big championship game after an amazing semifinal win 99-94 against KB Peja.

Here is what head coach Kalia Papadopoulou had to say following the win:

"I want to congratulate my players for this win. We had a lot of pressure before the game because we were the favorites. We played in front of our magnificent fans, who brought enthusiasm but also pressure. We are now in the final which is an open result, and we hope to win the trophy.

I would also like to thank the president of AEL for the honor of retiring my number 8 and hanging it in the gym. I have won 33 titles with AEL Women's Basketball. I promise our fans that we will give everything on Sunday to win."
