PAYPAL EKA AEL started the new season in the Balkan League Delasport with a win. The Cypriots won convincingly against KK Plevlia after 93-42.

Here is what head coach Kalia Papadopoulou had to say following the win:

"The atmosphere was great. The result speaks for itself and we managed to win. We started the season with the weakest team in the Balkan League."

"We think game by game. We are a new team and we have to perform well. Our goals in the tournament will become clear after the end of the first phase. The fans were our sixth man. They helped us a lot. We need their support in every game."
