Today we continue the presentations for the participating clubs in the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League. For the first time Bosnia will have a representative in the Balkan League - HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar.
The club was founded 1992 in Mostar, the biggest town in Herzegovina. HKK Zrinjski played in Croatian second South division in their first season as they had an important role in the championship. In 1994 HKK Zrinjski Junior team won the championship, but Croatian Basketball Federation disqualified them - the reason is that the club from Mostar was situated in Bosnia. After that HKK Zrinjski board took a decision to start negotiations with other clubs in Bosnia to create their own basketball association.
Last season the club finished 6th in the Bosnian championship and reached National Cup quarter-final. Head coach of the team is Ivan Vujicic -  former HKK Zrinjski player. The club has also very good and developed youth academy.
