Torus got their second win in the EUROHOLD Balkan League

KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski achieved their second win in Group A of the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League. The Macedonian team defeated OKK Beograd 75:70 at home in Skopje, as this was the first win for their new head coach Marjan Srbinovski.
 
Nenad Misanovic opened up the score, giving OKK a 0:2 lead before Karadzovski made a three and Boswell added a succesful free-throw for 4:2 in favor of the home side. The score was tied at 4:4, at 6:6 and at 8:8, before Karazdovski scored another three which was the start of an 10-1 Torus - SCBT run, which would give the home team a 18:9 lead with 2.49 left. Two minutes before the end of the first period, Torus - SCBT led by double digits for the first time - 21:11. OKK Beograd would go on a six-to-nothing run, decreasing the deficit down to four - 21:17 with 1.13 to go. After 10 minutes of play the score would still be 21:17 for the home team.
 
Torus - SCBT increased their lead to 8 points - 27:19 after the start of the second period. However OKK would score the next six points, cutting the deficit down to just two points - 27:25 halfway through the second period. The home team responded with 9 straight points, and led the game 36:25 with 3.38 left in the half. OKK couldn′t get any closer to their opposition and halfway through the game they were down by 12 - 43:31.
 
It was OKK Beograd who enjoyed a better start of the second half. The Serbian team scored six points in the first 5 minutes, against two for the home side, decreasing their deficit to 8 - 45:37. Torus - SCBT would go back to a 10-point lead - 50:40, before Filip Sepa scored a three-pointer for 50:43 with 3.16 to go. Torus - SCBT made a six-to-nothing run, extending their lead to 13 - 56:43 with 1.28 to go. Until the end of the period OKK scored 6 points against 4 for the home team, decreasing their deficit to 11 - 60:49 after 30 minutes.
 
KK Torus - SC Boris Trajkovski maintained their lead after the start of the fourth period, and even increased it to 13 points - 62:49. However OKK didn′t seem like giving up and went on a 9-4 run, decreasing the difference to 8 points - 66:58 with 5.49 left to play. Jeremiah Boswell and Bojan Trajkovski would score four in a row, increasing their team′s lead to 12 points - 70:58 with 3.29 to go. Stanoje Knezevic would make four free-throws in a row, decreasing his team′s losing to 8 - 70:62. Vuk Malidzan made another two free-throws, bringing the gap down to just six points - 70:64 with 2 minutes to go. The final score was settled at 75:70 in favor of the home team.
 
Dimitar Karadzovski led Torus with 16 points and 6 assists. Justin Reynolds added 15 points and 8 rebounds, while veteran Pero Blazevski finished with 14 points.   Filip Sepa scored 19 points in just 23 minutes for OKK Beograd. Nenad Misanovic added 18, and Stanoje Knezevic finished with 13 points.
 
This was the second win for Torus in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as they now share the same balance as OKK Beograd - 2 wins and 5 losses. However OKK are fifth in Group A, while Torus remained on the sixth spot.
