The defending EUROHOLD Balkan League champion – KK Feni Industries Kavadarci are in a “do or die” situation before the last game of the regular season against HKK Zrinjski Mostar. Emil Rajkovic’s side needs a win in order to qualify for the quarterfinals of the BIBL, and if they lose it will be KK Napredak Rubin Krusevac who will go through to the next phase of the competition.

Currently Feni are fourth in Group B with a balance of 4 wins and 5 losses, while their opponents Napredak are third with 5 wins and 5 losses, but in case of a win tomorrow night Feni will be third due to advantage in the direct games between the two sides. HKK Zrinjski don’t have a chance of advancing.

Ivan Lilov has been Feni’s top performer in the regular season so far, averaging 17.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Zlatko Gocevski adds 12.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, while Jarrid Frye has 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

Marcel Jones has been HKK Zrinjski Mostar’s most consistent player in the competition. The American forward averages 15.2 points along with a league-leading 13.0 rebounds per game. Luka Klarica adds 11.6 points. Edi Sinadinovic had an impressive debut with 12 points and 14 assists, and Boris Lalovic also impressed in his only game so far – 23 points and 4 boards.

The game between KK Feni and HKK Zrinjski is scheduled for 18.00 local time on the 20th of March in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci. The officials will be from Bulgaria – Dimitar Gologanov, Marin Mehandjiev and Borislav Peltekov, and the commissioner will be Vladimir Makrevski from Macedonia.
