Cherno More might play in the EUROHOLD BIBL

Cherno More Port Varna might play in the EUROHOLD Balkan League next season. After Mr. Boyko Borisov, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria helped the team to find a sponsor for next year and secured their budget, Asen Hristov and Shay Shtriks, who have always supported the basketball in Varna are looking into the possibility of adding the team to the BIBL.

In the next days they will have a meeting and they will take a decision about this matter, as one of the main goals of the EUROHOLD BIBL is to support the develop,ment of young and talented teams and players just like Cherno More Port Varna.

There will be talks with Simeon Varchev as the roster of the team is still to be decided, and also the team should be able to fulfill all of the obligations that the Balkan League requires.

Cherno More Port Varna already played two seasons in the BIBL – between 2008 and 2010, as in 2010 they reached the Final Four of the competition.
