OKK Beograd recorded its first win in the Last 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team visited Djuro Djakovic in Slavonski Brod and took a dramatic victory by a score 69-68. This gave OKK 1-4 record in the Last 4 while Djuro is with 3-2. In the last round Djuro Djakovic will visit Kozuv on April 2nd while OKK will host Mornar on April 4th.
OKK started very good the game and played a strong first quarter. The team jumped in to the lead and had an 11-point advantage after ten minutes. From then on the visitors had a small lead and deserved the win. Djuro was up for only 23 seconds in this game while OKK was in front for almost 39 minutes. With 3 seconds to play in the game Vuk Malidzan scored one free throw to give OKK a 3-point advantage. Than the hosts tried a desperate three-pointer which didn′t hit the rim and they scored under the basket but it wasn′t enough.
Stanoje Knezevic and Ivan Marinkovic had 16 points apiece for the winners grabbing also 7 and 5 rebounds respectively. Nikola Jeftic also played well with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Very good game for the home team had Toni Brnas with 25 points and 8 rebounds as Marko Batina added 20 points.
