Perfect Kozuv in the First Stage

KK Kozuv finished the First Stage in EUROHOLD Balkan League with perfect record of 8 wins in as many games. The team from Gevgelija defeated KS Vllaznia 99-59 at home and topped group B. This was the debut of the new head coach of Kozuv - MIlos Pejic, who had an easy game to start. It was know even before the match that Kozuv would be first and will enter the Second Stage with 2-0 record. Vllaznia on the other side finished last with no win and 8 defeats in its debut in the competition.
 
The visitors stayed in the game for the first eight minutes. The the hosts finished the first quarter on a 10-2 run to go up by 10 points and from that moment on they cruised to victory. Kozuv controlled the match and was building a lead that went up to over 40 points at times.
 
Milan Janjusevic was the top scorer for the winners with 15 points. Aleksej Nesovic had 13 points and 4 assists as Eftim Bogojev added 12 and 5.
 
For the visiting team Ervin Berdica had 17 points while Damian Bekteshi finished with 15 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds.
