KB Sigal Prishtina started on a high the Second Stage in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team visited BC Rilski Sportist in the first round of group D and won 94-71 after dominant performance. Sigal led from start to finish and never gave any chance to the home team. The visitors had a very good shooting night and played well in defense which were the keys for their success. With this result now Sigal is tied with Rilski Sportist and Sutjeska with 1 win and 2 defeats in this group while Kozuv is the sole leader with 3-0 record. Next week Sigal will visit Sutjeska while Rilski will travel to Gevgelija to meet Kozuv.

The visitors started great with 7-0 run and soon they were up by double digits. They scored another 7 points in a row to move up by 17 and after ten minutes they were up by 15. Shortly after the start of the second quarter the visitors scored 11 points in a row to go up 22 and later they went up to 25. Rilski responded with 8-0 run to cut some of the deficit but Sigal scored the last 6 points for the half and led 53-30 after 20 minutes. In the second half there was no contest as the visitors controlled the match and sealed very early the outcome.

Sigal scored 15 three-pointers from 35 attempts while Rilski was only 4 from 22 which made a big difference.

Top performer for the winners was Dardan Berisha who finished with 7 triples and 34 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. With a minute to play he was substituted and received applause from the local fans. Edin Bavcic also did well with 15 points and 14 rebounds while Jordan Hulls had 14 points and made all of his four three-point attempts.

For the home team Todor Todorov had very good match with 16 points and 9 rebounds while Vernon Taylor had 13 points.
