KB Sigal Prishtina will defend its trophy in the Balkan League. The current champions of the competition defeated BC Beroe for second straight game, this time 94-75 at home. Sigal had a 14-point advantage from the first leg, played very good in this one from the beginning and never gave a chance to the visiting team. Nevertheless Beroe should be very happy for reaching the semifinal as it was a very successful first season for the team in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League.

Sigal started much better the game, especially in defense. In five minutes the hosts already were up 12-2 and then the visitors called a timeout. It provided a little spark as they scored the next 7 points but Sigal responded with the same. Then the home team controlled the difference as it reached 12 points after ten minutes.

The second quarter started as did the match - 10-2 run for the hosts and 20 points advantage. In the next minutes it wasn′t changing a lot before Beroe cut it to 15 with no long to go before the break. Sigal however then scored two baskets and held a 19-point edge after 20 minutes which already meant they are in the final.

The hosts had a very productive first half shooting 77% for 2 points (14 of 18) and 6 of 12 for 3 for 50%.

In the second half Sigal Prishtina continueed to have the lead and to control the game. The home side wasn′t allowing any runs nor increased its advantage by much. After 30 minutes the difference didn′t change so the last ten were just a formality as the local fans celebrated reaching another final in the competition. The lead went up to 27 poitns twice but near the end the visitors cut some of it.

Dardan Berisha hit 6 triples on his way to 28 points. He added also 6 assists and 5 rebounds to his tally while Jason Washburn had double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Mohamed Abukar also did well finishing with 15 points and 5 assists.
