Three in a row for Beroe

BC Beroe won its third game in a row in group A of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team from Stara Zagora hosted KB Bashkimi and took a big lead after a good second quarter and eventually won 72-63. The visitors tried everything to make a comeback and try to steal the victory but the hosts never allowed them to and stopped every attempt. Next game for Beroe is away at Teodo on November 9th while Bashkimi will visit the same team a week later.

The first quarter was even and close as both teams didn′t score a lot. The first to open the difference was Beroe as 5-0 run in the second period made it a 7-point game. A bit later the hosts started a 14-2 run which increased their advantage to 16. At the break the margin was 12 points as after it Beroe continued to have the lead. It went down to 6 points with 3.15 to go in the third quarter and despite the fact that the hosts increased it again, Bashkimi came back to 7 after 30 minutes. Still though Beroe never allowed the visitors to come closer and was controlling the difference and eventually won the game.

Shane Gibson was once again the top scorer for Beroe as he finished with 15 points. Omari Gudul had 14 and 5 rebounds while Aaron Jones added 12 and 8. Beroe hit 11 triples in the game which proved to be too much for the visitors to overcome.

Mikaile Tmusic had a good game for Bashkimi finishing with 16 points as Kejuan Johnson added 15 and 7 rebounds.
