KK Blokotehna-NB is the first team to secure its Final Four place in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The Gevgelija team won its seventh game in a row after downing KK Ibar 90-79 at home. The visitors, despite being last in the standings, fought really hard in this match and were really close for the whole time. However they lacked a little bit in the end in order to make a surprise. With that result Blokotehna is first with 9-1 record and will host BC Akademik Bultex 99 next week. Ibar on the other side is still last with 1-7 record and will be looking to get its second win next week at home against KB Bashkimi.

The visitors had a great start and opened up an early 16-2 lead. The hosts responded by cutting the deficit and then took a 4-point edge after 12-0 run. The first quarter finished with Blokotehna leading by 2 and in the second the game continued to be close. At one point the visitors managed to regain the lead and at the break they were up by 2 points.

The home side opened up the second half by scoring the first 8 points and had the lead after that. Ibar managed to stay close but after a 5-0 run to end the first quarter, the hosts went up by 8. Then in the final ten minutes the hosts controlled the difference and got another win.

Danilo Mijatovic was the top performer for the winners with his 26 points and 10 rebounds. Stojan Gjuroski did well with 22 points as Cedrick Bowen had 12 and 7 rebounds.

Gerell Simmons had another great game for Ibar as he finished with 34 points and 5 assists. Nedim Felec and Maurice Jeffers also played well scoring 12 points apiece.
